Natural Treatments Reduce Osteoporosis Risks

Image
Osteoporosis means porous bones, literally. Consequently, being diagnosed with the disease means that the bones’ interior has lost so much density that there is not much support holding them to gether. That is why people with osteoporosis have a much greater risk for suffering broken bones than others. While some risks of osteoporosis are unavoidable, there are natural treatments everyone can do to reduce their risk and strengthen bones. The Reality and Risks: Everyone will lose some bone density beginning around their 30 th birthday. The inside of bones has a honeycomb-like material called trabecular bone, which is typically where people lose critical density. The hard outer part of the bone is called cortical, which is about 80 percent of the bone mass. The cortical density declines too, but much slower. Many women – and men – are unaware of their loss of bone density until a concerned doctor orders a test. Another unfortunate way many find out is when a fall or bump surprisingly

Do vampires really exist?

Image
After the very famous saga of 'Twilight', only one question encounters in my mind that, do VAMPIRES really exist? It seems that no matter how much evidence there is to suggest they either do or don't, most people are not satisfied without a conclusive answer. I suppose it's human nature to want to know definitively, but without hard scientific evidence in hand, how do we determine if vampires really exist or not? Down through time, the human imagination has created fantastic beings solely for the thrill factor. But none of these compare with the dark and erotic creature known as the 'vampire'. People that fear daylight, have yellow fang-like teeth, animal-looking nails, pale white skin does exist. The cruelest accident happened in Great Britain 4 years ago. A 17-year teenager slaughtered his female neighbour, teared out her heart and sucked out blood to gain immortality. In the Middle Ages the legend about vampires was complemented with the informa

Unexplained mystery of the Devil’s Sea

Image
The Devil's Sea which is also known as the Dragon's Triangle is a region of the Pacificaround Miyake Island, about 100 km south of Tokyo. The Japanese call it the Ma-no Umi: the sea of the devil. This place is known for vanishing ships and seamen similar to the legendary Bermuda Triangle.  This area is said to be a danger zone on Japanese maps, according to Charles Berlitz's books The Bermuda Triangle (1974) and The Dragon's Triangle (1989). He states that in the peacetime years between 1952-54 Japan lost 5 military vessels with crews lost totals over 700 people and that the Japanese government sent a research vessel boarded by over 100 scientists to study the Devil's Sea, and that this ship too vanished; and finally that the area was officially declared a danger zone. However, in 1995, Larry Kusche published "The Bermuda Triangle Mystery Solved" and reported that his research found that Berlitz's military vessels were mostly fishing vess

"HAKUNA MATATA"

Image
This is a human perspective of 'Hakuna Matata'  which means No Worries. Of-course life is not a movie but we can take a leaf out of the storybook. Optimism is being hopeful and gleeful. It is something that comes from within and generally because of positive thinking. It is true that our lives are deeply affected by all that we think and believe. For example, if we get up in the morning believing this is going to be a good day then we will surely have a nice day. We often meet some 'morning people' who have a cheery attitude towards life. Their lives aren't exactly a bed of roses. They also come across unhappy situations and suffer like everyone else but they don't make themselves miserable by constantly thinking about them. Letting our moods become influenced by external influences show weakness in our personality. Our emotions and moods at the very least should be in our control and we must free them from being affected by external influences if we wan

Boom Boom will be back!

It's been a while that "Shahid Afridi" had a great fall in his career and his fans just wonder that what has happened to our shining all rounder boom boom Afridi? There was a time when he used to bat, the ball would straight go to the boundary and no where else and his balling only meant taking wickets. But now it seems we have lost our star, now it just takes a couple of minutes for him to get out of the crease, even get out on duck and now the stumps don't fall down when he bowls. He really needs to take some time out for himself, relax and start all over again. The people of Pakistan and even his fans abroad loves him to the most and all the Afridi lovers want him to get back with a bang on the opponent's faces just as he did in the 3rd ODI against South Africa, he played a striking innings of 88 runs off 48 balls with a great strike rate of 183 and 42 runs were only of 7 great sixes. He also broke the world record of longest six in the cricket hist

Cell phones: Necessity or luxury?

Image
The cell phone is an invention over which the youth is going crazy today. It has become the most popular gadget amongst kids as well as the old souls and life seems impossible without this device. No doubt, mobile phones have made our life quite convenient and easy but wait for a moment and ask yourself that are you using your cell phone just to fulfil your basic need? The answer you would probably get will be ‘no’ of course. Stylish cell phones having lots of features in it such as touch screen, android etc. have become a part and parcel of our lives these days and you will be considered outdated if you do not change your model frequently. I am no one to deny the fact that if you have money in your pocket you can buy anything you want then why not a trendy cell phone that keeps you and your position updated in the society. But what if this so called perception influences the poor, nowadays people earn day and night just to pay their phone bills which is just a mere necessity
